Forests and Lochs - Family Walk

Helping you to connect with others and spend quality time outside.

This family hike for hope is a low level walk near Loch Garten, one of my favourite places in the Cairngorms. It takes us through stunning Calendonian Forest and offers plenty of beautiful viewpoints. There is no pressure to walk at any particular pace. This is about bringing families together to connect with eachother, get some fresh air and relax (if thats possible with small children).  

Parking at the Loch Mallichie Carpark. Please note this is not the RSPB Osprey Centre. The parking is at the North East side of Loch Garten, it has a small wooden signpost at the entrance and a big "Loch Mallachie" notice board at the start of the path.

Bring a hot flask, lots of snacks and plenty of warm clothes to keep everyone happy.
